Welcome to the Anglican Church of the Redeemer of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, serving Hilton Head, Sun City, Bluffton and the surrounding areas. Anglican Church of the Redeemer is a parish of the Diocese of the Eastern United States, Anglican Province of America.
Anglican Church of the Redeemer is located at 1 Mathews Dr, Suite 101 at the Mathews Pointe North Complex, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29926.
We are a traditional episcopal parish of the Diocese of the Eastern United States in the Anglican Province of America dedicated to the doctrine, discipline and worship of traditional Anglicanism. We proclaim the unchanging historic faith of the Church. We believe in the authority of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the authentic record of God's revelation of Himself. We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer for all of our worship services. Our vision and hope for our worship and ministry at Anglican Church of the Redeemer is that it will be thoroughly Christian, Anglican and Spiritfilled.
The doors of our church are always open to anyone wishing to be included in a faith community that seeks to love the Lord and others, as we have been loved by God. Anglican Church of the Redeemer serves as a spirit of hospitality for all who come through its doors. We hope that the same hospitality that God shows to us in Jesus Christ overflows to all who visit the church and to the wider community. By serving each other, other Christians and those in the world that God is calling we are doing as Jesus has commanded us to do in Matthew 28:19-"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". And Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40- "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy beighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets".

The Provincial Synod of the Anglican Province of America (APA) has unanimously passed a resolution embracing an inter-communion agreement with the Anglican Church in America (ACA). The General Synod of the Anglican Church in America will vote on this resolution at its meeting in September. The agreement has already been approved by each of the four domestic ACA dioceses.
In a statement issued by the President of the House of Bishops, the Rt. Rev. Brian Marsh said "The APA action reaffirmed what we have known in both bodies for a number of years, that in Christ and in each other, we are one Church, one body. I applaud Bishop Grundoff and the Synod of the APA for their actions to to which I am sure we will respond in kind in September."
